In January I found out about this thing called the Bout of Books readathon and decided to join in the fun for the January edition. I had tons of fun with it and was pretty sad that I wasn’t able to join the May readathon because of university stuff.
But next week the fourteenth edition will start, and I have all the time in the world to join in the fun! I’ve been looking forward to this for quite a while now and since I’ve barely read anything when I was in Malta (more on that later!) this comes at just the right time for me to catch up a little on my Goodreads challenge.
For those of you who are wondering about this mysterious reading challenge, here’s the info:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 17th and runs through Sunday, August 23rd in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. Good luck! I wish I had time to take part this time, but maybe next time! I do want to try and read as much as I can this week; I’m just afraid it won’t be all that much as I’m quite busy this week.

I’m sooo excited to be participating this time around!! Like you, because I was so busy with school stuff, I wasn’t able to participate in May. Since this is the last week before school, I definitely want to try and catch up on my Goodreads goal as well (which I, ahem, and pitifully behind on…).
