Top Ten Books By My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven’t Read

Top Ten Tuesday

It’s been ages since I last did a Top Ten Tuesday – it was still hosted by The Broke and the Bookish back then, so that means this is my first TTT of the year. And it’s September. Whoops. Last week, I was reminded of this lovely prompt again, though, so I figured I’d participate again this week! It’s now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and the prompts are still just as fun and creative!

I think the reason why I stopped participating is that I sometimes find it difficult to come up with 10 books that actually really fit the prompt of the week. I don’t read as many books as some other book bloggers, so I sometimes felt like I was just repeating the same books over and over again. But I’m going to step past that insecurity and just get back on the horse, as they say, because Top Ten Tuesday is a ton of fun, and that’s what it’s all about!

So, let’s get straight to it! Here’s my top ten books by my favourite authors that I still haven’t read…

Top Ten Books I Want To Read This Winter

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

It’s been ages since I did a Top Ten Tuesday. In fact, this is my first one this year – and it’s almost December. Yikes. This week’s topic is books you want to read this winter. Now, I know I just did a post on my end of year TBR, but winter doesn’t stop on December 31st, so here are some more books I want to read before winter is over!

I’ll be honest, though; I’m pretty sure I won’t get around to reading all of these before spring. Partly because I’m not a very fast reader, but also because I fully intend on going back to my mood reading ways in the new year. I love being a mood reader! It keeps the spontaneity in reading, I think. All of the books on this list are books I already own, because I bought a lot of books over the past couple of months and I want to read them ALL.

So, onto the list (the links lead to Goodreads)!

Ten Books I Want to Read this Summer

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Now that I’m back, I can do these again too! This week is officialy Beach Reads Week for Top Ten Tuesday, meaning books you want to read on the beach, or those you’ll put in your beach bag and all that. Seeing as I probably won’t go to any beach this summer, though, I decided to just turn it into my top ten books I want to read this summer, which I was planning on making anyway.

So, here goes, in no particular order!

My Ten Latest 5-Star Reads

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week’s topic is Your Last Ten 5-Star (or 1-Star) reads! I don’t think there are ten books I’ve given a 1-star rating, and the other option is much more positive, so I’m going for the 5-star one. I try to not give too many books a 5-star rating, but then again, what is too many anyway? This list is in chronological order, from newest to oldest, and the last one on the list dates back to early in July last year, without counting any rereads.

So, here are the books I loved most in the past eight months! Prepare for some elaborate gushing.

Top Ten Songs I Wish Were Books

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

I haven’t participated in a top ten tuesday for a while, but when I saw this week’s prompt I was like oh hell yeah – let’s do this! Combining books with music? Right up my alley! It was pretty hard to think of some good songs I think should be turned into books, though, and I basically ended up with a list of some of my favourite songs (plus a few others) since those were the only ones I could think of. Of course, they are also the songs whose stories I know best – and I really would like to see these songs made into books!

So, here’s my list…

Ten Blogging Resolutions for 2016

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

It’s the very first Top Ten Tuesday of the year and the topic is your top ten resolutions for 2016. I’m not a huge fan of resolutions when it comes to my personal life, but I do like to set myself some goals when it comes to blogging, so that’s what I chose to do for this one. Here are ten things I want me or my blog to accomplish in 2016!

Top Ten Best Books I Read in 2015

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

I wasn’t planning on participating in today’s Top Ten Tuesday, but then I saw that the topic was the top ten books you read in 2015, and I thought “well, I can’t let that one pass me by, now can I?”. Although the year isn’t officially over yet – I still have to read four books to win my Goodreads challenge and I’m behind (eeeks) – it seems like as good a time as any to tell you about my favourite books of the year. Of course, I didn’t count rereads, and there will also be two honourable mentions at the end… Oh, and these are in no particular order (as always) and the links lead to my reviews of the novels.

Let’s go!

Top Ten Book to Film Adaptations I Still Need to Watch

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

It’s been four months since I last did a Top Ten Tuesday, so it’s about time I did one again! This week’s prompt is Top Ten Book To Movie Adaptations I’m Looking Forward To or Ten Book To Movie Adaptations I Still Need To Watch, and there are so many films I still need to watch, so this seemed like the perfect prompt to ease back into Top Ten Tuesday.

So, let’s go!

Last Ten Books That Came Into My Possession

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

After I went to London and came back with eleven books, I kind of put myself on a book buying ban for the time being. And let me tell you, it’s been hard. If it wasn’t for my bank account protesting vehemently, I would’ve gone on a huge book buying binge last week. I NEED Cress and Crown of Midnight and I also want to read more Rainbow Rowell books and and and…

Yeah. It’s been tough.

So, apart from two ARCs and a gift from a friend, this list of last books that came into my possession still dates back to my trip to London. I don’t know how much longer I will be able to contain myself, but I’m pretty sure I can guarantee a book haul some time this summer…
